：Objective To investigate the knowledge of patients about maintenance hemodialysis(MHD)complicated with hyperphosphatemia to summarize the nursing countermeasures. Methods 〓A questionnaire survey was conducted among 98 patients admitted in our hospital. Results 〓MHD patients took phosphate binder irregularly and can not control their dietary structure. The patients lacked of relevant knowledge of hyperphosphatemia, and hope to recieve professional guidance of those knowledge from medical workers. Conlusion 〓As for existing questions, the corresponding nursing measures were taken so as to improve medication compliance of phosphate binder, to offer professional guidance on diet for the patients, to reduce and control the incidence of hyperphosphatemia, and to improve the life quality of the patients.
