Abstract:Objective To investigate the correlation between the general selfefficacy and autonomous learning ability in undergraduate students specializing in nursing. Methods A total of 286 undergraduate students specializing in nursing were investigated by questionnaire survey. Results Score of general selfefficacy was (25.20±4.63) in undergraduate students specializing in nursing. “Using Email to communicate with other people” was an independent factor of general selfefficacy (P0.05). General selfefficacy was positively correlated with total autonomous learning ability, learning motivation, selfmanagement ability, cooperative learning ability and information literacy (P0.01). Conclusion It is helpful to improve the general self efficacy and selflearning ability by guiding the students to communicate with other people in the way of rational use of mailbox and so on.
