摘要

Abstract：ObjectiveTo investigate the application of diazepam in first stage labor and nursing measures. MethodsA total of 300 primiparae were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with conventional nursing for both groups. The observation group was additionally given diazepam in first stage of labor. The duration of first stage of labor, number of cases with vaginal delivery, number of cases with amount of bleeding over 500 mL within one hour after delivery and incidence of fetal distress were compared between two groups. ResultsThe observation group had shorter duration of first stage labor, higher incidence of vaginal delivery, compared with the controls (P0.05). There was no significant difference in number of cases with amount of bleeding over 500 mL within one hour after delivery and incidence of fetal distress between two groups (P0.05). ConclusionApplication of diazepam in first stage of labor can accelerate labor and reduce the incidence of caesarean section. Meanwhile, targeted nursing ensures the success of delivery.
