Abstract：Objective To investigate the effect of Tongyu powder in treatment of proliferation in subcutaneous adipose tissue caused by insulin injection. Methods Totally 56 patients with proliferation in subcutaneous adipose tissue caused by insulin injection were assigned to the observation group and the control group, with 28 cases in each group. Patients in the observation group were given external application of Tongyu powder, and those in the control group received hydropathic compress with 50%magnesium sulfate. Results 〓The overall effective rate in relieving induration of subcutaneous adipose tissue was higher in the observation group than that of controls(P0.05). Conclusion 〓External application of Tongyu powder is potentially effective in treatment of proliferation in subcutaneous adipose tissue caused by insulin injection.
