Accretion-diskwindsblowingoffperpendiculartoaluminousdiskareexaminedwithintheframeworkoffullyspecialrelativisticradiationhydrodynamics.Thewindisassumedtobesteady,vertical,andisothermal.Usingavelocity-dependentvariableEddingtonfactor,wecansolvetherigorousequationsofrelativisticradiativehydrodynamics,andcanobtainradiativelydrivenwindsaccelerateduptorelativisticspeeds.Forless-luminouscases,diskwindsaretransonictypespassingthroughsaddle-typecriticalpoints,andthefinalspeedsofthewindsincreaseasthediskfluxand/ortheisothermalsoundspeedincrease.Forluminouscases,ontheotherhand,diskwindsarealwayssupersonic,sincethecriticalpointsdisappearduetothecharacteristicnatureofthediskgravitationalfields.Theboundarybetweenthetransonicandsupersonictypesislocatedataround$$hat{F}_{ mc}sim0.1(varepsilon+p)/( hoc^2)/gamma_{ mc}$$,where$$hat{F}_{ mc}$$istheradiativefluxatthecriticalpointnormalizedbythelocalEddingtonluminosity,$$(varepsilon+p)/( hoc^2)$$istheenthalpyofthegasdividedbytherest-massenergy,and$$gamma_{ mc}$$istheLorentzfactorofthewindvelocityatthecriticalpoint.Intransonicwinds,thefinalspeedbecomes0.4a€“0.8$$c$$fortypicalparameters,whileitcanreach$$simc$$insupersonicwinds.
