Beginning July 1, 2016, Oregon Medicaid patients with spinal pain (cervical, thoracic, lumbar, pelvic) who are determined to be low risk based on a biopsychosocial assessment tool (STarT Back – Keele University) can receive four chiropractic visits per episode. This will include reimbursement for office evaluation and education, chiropractic manipulative therapy and adjunctive physiotherapy.
