摘要

Extension data mining is a product combiningextenics with data mining. Establishing the extenicsprovides a new idea and method for data mining and opensup a new research direction for data mining. Using theextenics method of combining the data mining technologynot only can access to static knowledge, but also can dig torealization of knowledge. By using the theory and method ofExtenics, it can mine the knowledge from database which isrelative to solve contradictory problems. And the knowledgeincludes the extension classification knowledge, conductiveknowledge and other knowledge associated withtransformation, which collectively called extensionknowledge. Extension data mining can play a role inclassification transformation, finding the root causes of theproblem, identifying potential transformation knowledge.Finally, how to tap new customers and how to recommendan appropriate brand to new customers, Research resultsindicate that extension data mining can provide effectivesupport for decision-making of enterprise.
