摘要

—The output power of PV module varies withmodule temperature, solar insolation and loads. And inorder to quickly and accurately track the sun, it is necessaryto track the maximum power point (MPP) all the time. Afterstudying various algorithms, a new algorithm was presentedin this paper based on online short-circuit current,opencircuitvoltage, and variable step of perturbation andobservation method. This algorithm could track MPPchange rapidly and accurately without the disturbance ofphotovoltaic system, and also can reduce the poweroscillation around MPP and the light mutation of the falsejudgement phenomenon. A theoretical analysis and thedesigned principle of the proposed algorithm are describedin detail. And some experiment and simulation results aremade to demonstrate that the effectiveness of the proposedalgorithm and also the proposed could reach MPP which isfaster than traditional P&O method about 0.2s. The systemhas a good dynamic and steady-state performance.
