"We never really think about snakes in most dredging applications, but in India it can really be a problem," Ryan Horton, sales director of US company IMS Dredge, told DPC But snakes were one reason why IMS Dredge beat off two major competitors to supply a IMS 7012 HP Versi-Dredge to a contractor hired by the country's Water Resources Department (WRD) to test-dredge Chennai's South Buckingham canal.
