The Hungarian telecoms regulator, the National Media and Infocom-nmunications Authority (NMHH) announced its latest market fgures for the Hungarian broadband market up to the end of September n2011. NMHH estimates the number of fxed broadband subscriptions nhas passed 2mn for the frst time as cable and fbre technologies nproliferate. Meanwhile, BMI estimates growth in dedicated mobile nbroadband subscriptions has continued to outpace fxed subscription ngrowth and will prove a strong competitive threat to fxed broadband nproviders over the medium term.
