摘要

To predict transient two-phase flow in elastic pipes, a mathematical model is presented. The effect of fluid compressibility and the pipe wall flexibility on transient pressure behaviour is then analysed. The fluid density is defined by an expression averaging the two-component den- sities. A relationship between the pressure and the cross-section of the pipe is developed to take into account the fluid-structure interaction. A set of two differential equations are solved by a two steep finite difference conservative scheme involving explicitly the pressure wave speed. Computation results show that the pressure wave propagation is signi- Ficatly influenced by the fluid compressibility and the pipe wall elasti- City.
