Companies seeking an efficient way to process pur-chasing will find a good solution in Paperless Business Systems Inc.'s eRequester 3.1, provided their existing accounting system doesn't already handle the job adequately. Priced at $8,500 for 10 users, eRequester 3.1 began shipping last month. In eWEEK Labs' tests, we found the system did a good job of building workflows associated with purchase requisitions. Although the product is expensive, its price would be justifiable for businesses that are looking to consolidate purchasing across companies, divisions or busi-ness units—particularly when they may use different accounting tools. But we would like to see improved reporting capabilities in the system.
