The arrival of Tallink's Shuttle fast ferry Star at Helsinki's West Harbour on 20 December was greeted by the port's management. The reason? On board was the 10 millionth passenger to pass through one of its terminals for the first time in a calendar year. Estonian citizen Irene Reidlaa was presented with flowers and a diploma by new Port of Helsinki director Kimmo Maki as the media recorded the occasion for posterity.
