Preservation lost one of its unsung heroes on April 12, when James (Barry) Wright (65) passed away. He began his involvement in vintage aircraft in the early days of the Duxford Aviation Society, before helping Robs Lamplough with his Messerschmitt Bf 109 project.In later years, following his retirement from BT, he worked for the Aircraft Restoration Company at Duxford as an electrician. Recently he was heavily involved with rewiring Beech 18 G-BKRN with Beech Restorations at Bruntingthorpe. Our sincere condolences to his friends and family.
