In this paper, the problem of non-fragile H_∞ control for a class of uncertain Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy neutral systems with lineal" fractional parametric uncertainties is considered. The non-fragile H_∞ control problem is to design a state feedback controller with parameter uncertainties such that the L_2-induced gain of the mapping from the exogenous input to the controlled output is less than some prescribed level. Based on Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, the descriptor model transformation and LMI approach, new sufficient conditions for solvability of this problem are obtained. It is shown that, by a novel controller design method, the desired state feedback fuzzy controller can be constructed by solving a set of LMIs and the minimum H_∞ disturbance attenuation level can be obtained via using the LMI algorithm "mincx". Finally, an illustrative numerical example is provided to demonstrate correctness and effectiveness of the theoretical results.
