A dynamic process that helps businesspeople learn individually, as a team, and as an organization, action learning enables a small, cross-functional group of people to structure and solve real business problems while focusing on what they are learning and how their learning can benefit others. Ultimately, action learning can help organizations develop creative, flexible, and successful projects that, though initiated within an executive education program, continue well after its conclusion, serving to foster best practices and increase shareholder value. An effective action-learning project aligns with the organization's business goals, helps it better serve its customers, and guides participants from the identification of enhanced processes to their implementation.
