Spring has sprung and it's time to reacquaint ourselves with our gardens. Pull the weeds, uncover the peren-nials and plant the annuals. Here at HazMat we're also in spring cleaning mode. We're reacquainting ourselves with our readers and fine tuning our content, thanks to the results of our recent survey. Using the web-based SurveyMonkey.com application, we conducted an in-depth readership survey to help us better understand our readers' information needs and identify opportunities for future improvement and growth. With more than 650 readers responding to 22 targeted questions, we now have a better idea about which editorial topics to fertilize and which to add to the compost heap. Some of the feedback was surprising, while some echoed the conversations we've had with readers by phone, at tradeshows and conferences and through e-mails.
