Pundits, critics and competitors like to point out what the hotel industry doesn't do or fails to embrace. But after creating our annual Hot Issue, I am here to say that there is a lot of creativity and thoughtfulness being generated - so much that we don't have enough room to present all the hot ideas that make it abundantly clear hoteliers are listening and reacting. Maybe the hotel industry is not quite the trendsetter and more reactionary in process, but it also seems pretty quick on the draw recognizing what it needs to consider next.
