Pam Erickson of Canvas Designers Inc., Lake Park, Fla., walked into a family business with her eyes open. In fact, she married into it within weeks of meeting her new boss, owner Mike Erickson, MFC. "I was going to quit, because I wanted to continue to date him and I didn't think I should do that while I was working for him. Then we had a talk, and we decided to get married instead. That was 13 years and three kids ago."
