Exploring the young people's experiences of growing up, learning, socialising and dreaming in a digital world, The class: Living and learning in the digital age, is based on an ethnographic study of Sonia Livingstone and Julian Sefton Green, of year 9 students (13-14 years old) of a class in London. The book has perfectly pictured the details of the research, discussing young people's everyday experiences in the digital age, in a richly texture that can cover a wide range of audiences. It can be an interesting read for parents, teachers, policy-makers and researchers. The book contains 10 chapters, following the students as they move across their different social worlds such as in school, at home, and with their friends, engaging in a range of activities.
