Attendees of the SkyBridge Alternatives, or SALT, Conference, the weeklong Las Vegas hedge fund party thrown by New York-based fund-of-funds firm SkyBridge Capital and its gregarious founder, Anthony Scaramucci, Conference-goers hobnobbed poolside while chomping beef carpaccio tacos and hand-rolled cigars, but May's fifth annual Sin City soiree was much more than a hedgie meet-and-greet. Luncheon speakers included U.S. men's national basketball team coach Mike Krzyzewski and renowned theoretical physicist Michio Kaku, while Oscar winners Al Pacino and Oliver Stone shared stories from the Grand Ballroom stage.
