Finance Minister Korn Chatikavanij has inherited one of the toughest jobs in the new government. A respected former investment banker and relative newcomer to politics, he is charged with strengthening the economy at a time when Thailand's exports are plunging. In a recent interview held in parliament, Korn told Ben Davies about his immediate priorities. rnIn the space of 15 months, Thailand has had four prime ministers, three finance ministers and some of the most drawn-out protests in the nation's recent history. Why should foreign investors give the country another chance?
