Under the leadership of Mr. Lawrence Ho, Group Chairman and CEO, Melco has expanded quickly in recent years and capitalized on the booming opportunities in the leisure and entertainment industry. The Group has six listed entities - three in Hong Kong, two in the US, and one in Canada - which are well received among investor communities. This year, the Group once again won the Corporate Governance Asia Annual Recognition Award 2008 for the third consecutive year, and was named one of Hong Kong's Best Managed Companies, Best in Corporate Governance and Best in Investor Relations by FinanceAsia magazine for the second year.
