On June 13, Airbus announced that the delivery schedule of the A380 "will undergo a shift of six to seven months due to production ramp-up issues". The next day, the share price of EADS lost some 26% on the stock market. For months, there had been rumours about the industrial difficulties encountered by the A380 programme. While the test flights were advancing without a hitch, it was obvious that the production programme was facing difficulties.
