The Glendoe plant in Scotland is to be brought back into operation by late August, following the extensive repairs to overcome a tunnel collapse, as well as extensive extra lining works, according to the owner, Scottish and Southern Energy (SSE). Glendoe will have been out of action for almost three years, having only been operational for several months before the discovery of a rockfall at a fault zone in the upper reaches of the headrace tunnel.
