Denmark's first three Sikorsky MH-60R Seahawk helicopters arrived in the country on 11 May after being freighted across the Atlantic. Purchased under a USD686 million US Foreign Military Sales (FMS) agreement signed in December 2012, nine MH-60RS will replace the Royal Danish Air Force's (RDAF's) eight Lynx Mk.90B aircraft from 2017. They will be operated by the RDAF's Eskadrille (Squadron) 723 from Karup airbase, near Viborg.
