Airbus is looking to cut up to 180 jobs in Spain as a result of a run-down in production of the C295 military transport and the A380 civil airliner. The company said it expected some 360 workers in the country would be affected as part of an overall restructuring plan for its European plants. "We are confident that we will find internal solutions and relocations for 180 to 210, taking full benefit of the possibility we have to work across Airbus Group where we have areas that need reinforcement," a company spokesman said.
