South Korea has announced a major reform of its military command structure in a bid to better respond to provocations from North Korea."The command structure of top military positions will be revamped to improve the interoperability of the armed forces," Minister of Defence Kim Kwan-jin said on 8 March as he unveiled a 73-point reform package. "Enhancing interoperability is the barometer of an advanced military."
