Australian and US scientists successfully completed a second hypersonic flight at the Woomera test range in South Australia, according to Greg Combet, Minister for Defence Personnel, Materiel and Science.rnThe 22 March flight involved a 42 ft-long Terrier-Orion rocket test vehicle, which reached an altitude of about 300 km before pitching down and descending through the atmosphere at a speed of up to Mach 8.
