The Malaysian Ministry of Defence (MoD) has confirmed that its procurement of MD 530G armed reconnaissance/light attack helicopters has been delayed because of "various technical issues". The MoD ordered six MD 530Gs from US manufacturer MD Helicopters Inc (MDHI) in February 2016, but the MoD said the aircraft have yet to be delivered to the intended end-user: the aviation branch of the Malaysian Army (PUTD).
