摘要

An adjudication to resolve acceptance of three Brunei-class F2000 offshore patrol vessels (OPVs) built by BAE Systems Naval Ships is expected by the end of this year, following a closed hearing at the International Court of Arbitration in London. BAE Systems instigated proceedings against the Brunei government after the Sultanate's refusal to accept the 95 m ships. Royal Brunei Technical Services Sdn Bhd — the Brunei government's procurement agent — claims that the new ships do not meet contract specifications and is refusing to take delivery. BAE Systems insists that the three vessels have demonstrated contracted performance and are ready for acceptance by the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN).
