Introduction to Air Transport Economics is an introductory text for undergraduate students or readers not yet familiar with the airline industry. The authors deal with key economic concepts - often better explained in introductory micro and macroeconomics books - and they attempt to apply these principles to the airline industry. The description of the theory is sometimes too simplistic and biased, as in the case of the macroeco-nomic section, and it is difficult to summarise key macroeconomic principles in one chapter.
