摘要

The correction in the dominant space method, based mainly on the so called "alternative method", is an almost explicit algorithm which succeds to avoid the nonstability effects connected with the dominant eigenvalues. This method removes the additional time step restrictions which would be accumulated with those imposed by the nonlinearity and it is tested, with a Chebyshev collocation space discretization, in the case of the two-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations considered on rectangle domains.
