Free rotations of rigid bodies are studied on the basis of a tensor of turn, for which the new representation theorem is given. The integral of energy is presented in terms of turns rather than angular velocities. This made it possible to find the solution in the most simple form. It is shown that there exist three, and only three, different types of rotations. One of them is unstable. Two other solutions are stable. All unknowns are found in terms of one function that is determined by simple Fourier series.
