摘要

The prevalence of the Internet is the primary cause to the rise of the electronic commerce. Providing the privacy to the buyers, the convenience of information enquiry, and unrestrained shopping time and location, online shopping has become a daily consumption behavior to the public. In the new economic era, customers have deemed their time more valuable; hence, seeking desired products and services through a more efficient channel on the information-filled Internet is crucial. The 'Overlay Area Method for an Intelligent Buyer Matching System' presented in this research paper was expected to meet the buyers' demand through demand language interface. The 'overlay area method' proposed in this research was designed to enhance the buyers' satisfaction in the process of merchant match, and provide as a reference for adjust product content in the negotiation. By the case study on computer products, the research sought for ways to reduce buyers' cost on product enquiry, stimulate their willingness to shop online, and flourish the electronic commerce.
