Constant change seems to be the key dynamic affecting Translink in recent years with major improvement programmes taking place in its rail service, customer service, bus metro and express services and restructuring of terms of employment to achieve efficiencies. During the last eighteen months Translink has introduced a revised Attendance at Work Policy. Among several aims Translink wanted to achieve good governance to improve attendance levels and to maintain the best possible level of services to the public. In meeting these aims Translink committed to a policy that would encourage its employees to meet openly announced standards of attendance.
