摘要

Investigation of the Raman spectra of the molten MgCl_2-KCl system by the use of factor analysis indicates that the melt is a two-component system involving equilibrium between MgCl_4~(2-) and Mg_2Cl_7~(3-). The pure Raman spectra corresponding to these two species are recovered from the broad features via a self-modeling method.
