The RSN is organised into the Fleet, the Coastal Command (CO-SCOM), the Naval Logistic Command (NALCOM) and the Training Command (TRACOM). The Fleet has 2 flotillas: (1 st (Strike) Flotilla with 188 Sqn., 185 (Frigate) Sqn. and 3rd (Support) Flotilla with 191 Sqn., 195 Sqn. and 192/193 Sqn. (the latter is a civil resource with no organic ships), and is responsible for operational deployment of strike and support ships. The Submarine Squadron (171 Sqn.) at Tuas Naval Base comes directly under the Fleet Commander and is not part of the flotilla structure. COSCOM is responsible for peacetime operations in the Singapore Straits (182 Sqn., 189 Sqn., 194 Sqn., COPAS), and NALCOM for support to naval operations.
