Q Generally, how optimistic are you about the dairy sector and where it's heading? A Not very from the producer angle, because it's clear that there's an enormous number of my colleagues and friends who are not investing in new milking systems or new milking parlours. They're seeing their retirement coming up and they're not going to invest. But back home at the ranch too, my offspring, who run the business, are seriously considering not taking out the dairy cow, per se, but certainly not putting any more investment into it and reducing its scale because it does not pay.
