Ashley Chase's 'Goats' Cheddar with Cranberries', a creamy goats' cheddar with tart cranberries, has triumphed in a national competition to find delicious new British cheeses.rnThis annual competition, organised by Tesco, is now in its seventh year and cheesemakers from all over the country produce entries in a variety of categories. The winners get widespread distribution in Tesco in line with their production capacity. The winning cheesemakers, Ashley Chase Estates Ltd of Litton Cheney, near Dorchester, picked up the Best Flavoured Cheese award and went on to win the overall competition.
