En France, la tension entre modernisme, porté par la jeunesse, et tradition, soutenue par d'autres groupes sociaux orchestrait les années soixante. Ceci est identifiable, dans les politiques sportives et les propositions fédérales qui ne prennent pas en compte les espérances, les valeurs et les représentations de toute ou partie de cette jeunesse française. Cet article met en avant, à travers 4 magazines pour adolescents, représentatifs de cette période, la variété de traitement réservé au sport. Dans l'analyse de ces mensuels pour teenager des années soixante, nous avons montré qu'en contraste avec la presse ‘adulte’, ces magazines annoncent les changements à venir en matière de loisir sportif. Ceci s'inscrit alors dans une forme de résistance à une culture sportive traditionnelle qui pourtant, à travers les actions politiques menées, avait pour première intention d'attirer massivement la jeunesse dans les stades. In France, tension between modernism, upheld by young people, and tradition, supported by many social lobbyists, orchestrated the Sixties. In particular sport's political and federal proposals didn't really meet the expectations, values and representations of French youth. Thus in the article the authors focus on a sports theme through the study of four magazines for teenagers which were representative of that period. In the analysis of these monthly teen magazines, the authors show that in contrast to the ‘adult’ press, teen magazines announced changes in sports and leisure that would take the form of resistance to a traditional model which had, on the contrary, intended to attract the young.
