The U.S. Senate struck an amendment passed by the U.S. House of Representatives in the Energy and Water Development and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, H.R. 2354, that would have prohibited the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (the Corps) from using the funds to change the existing rules and guidance documents pertaining to the definition of waters of the United States under the Clean Water Act.
