Kobe Steel Ltd has developed a novel titanium alloy that will be used in the manufacture of the face of Mizuno Corp's JPX E300 driver. The alloy is called Nama Titan (or Raw Titanium) because after the sheet is cold-rolled, it is processed and formed without heating or heat-treatment.
