Along with the news from oil and gas industry, this double issue of our journal brings you three papers.rn1. The first one was prepared by Sanjin Grandic and his associates and its title is "Hydrocarbon Potential Assessment of the Slope Deposits along the SW Dinarides Carbon-rnate Platform". Peri-platform elastics extend along the entire Dinarides carbonate platform as slope deposits from Istria offshore in northwest to Dubrovnik offshore in southeast. These sediments are good potential reservoir rocks of regional significance. This is the first attempt to estimate their hydrocarbon potential. Peri-platform deposits spread at the length of 500 to 600 km.
