Par-Pak Europe has hit the acquisition trail again, snapping up Deltaform and its subsidiary Chiltern Thermo forming. Deltaform and Chiltern are manufacturers of rigid plastic packaging for the UK food industry. Deltaform is based in Somerset while Chiltern's facility is in Buckinghamshire. Par-Pak is the UK division of US-based Waddington Group. In September last year it bought Holfeld Plastics, based in Ireland. Kevin Ingram, managing director for Par-Pak and Holfeld Plastics, said: "The acquisition of these two highly successful manufacturers reinforces the Waddington Europe brand, enabling us to achieve even more accelerated growth and expansion into new markets both in the UK and in Europe.
