Bioplastics manufacturer NatureWorks has proved its bullish attitude towards the controversial PLA market by announcing plans to build a second manufacturing plant outside the US.rnThe company said that growing demand for its Ingeo bioresin in Europe, Asia Pacific and the Americas had led to the plans for the second facility.rnNo location for the plant has been decided as yet, although a selection process is underway based on the likely growth of sales and the availability of feedstock in the three regions.
