摘要

This article contends the Dakota Access Pipeline is an infrastructure that transcends national capitalist interests for global ones. Attention is paid to how state apparatuses engage these interests with neoliberal policies. It is also argued that this process and the resulting dispossession are racialized and engender resistance. Furthermore, this article proposes a rethinking of the state to better understand how race is key to capitalist globalization.
