The PJM Interconnection’s independent marketnmonitoring unit says PJM is trying to usurp its ability tonevaluate data used to determine whether power sellersnpossess market power — indicating some continuing tensionnbetween the system operator and the monitor. Earlier tensionnresulted in the monitor moving to independent statusnoutside the PJM organization.
