Ah the joys of summer! Long evenings for flying, good weather... well, better anyway, and of course an abundance of model shows to attend on spare weekends. Now I must confess that over the last couple of years I've become a bit of a show junkie, stocking up on goodies and essential supplies, not to mention watching how this flying business should be done! So, with the Eastnor show a mere 15 minute drive away from home, and the promise of R/C planes, cars and boats on show, I wasn't going to miss out. This is the 4th year that Traplet Publications have organised this event, and it's definitely starting to take on a family show feel with several 'have a go' attractions to keep attending youngsters happy. There was a chance to try R/C track cars and tanks, also a rare opportunity to get 'up close and personal' with owls and hawks in the falconry display.
