摘要

This work presents the results of measurement of RAC in waters of wells and springs of the three mountains of western Slovakia. This is the first comprehensive monitoring of ~(222)Rn concentrations in waters in this area. The importance of the measurement lies also in the fact that many of these waters are used for drinking purposes. The highest RAC (274 Bq l~(-1)) was found in the southern part of the Little Carpathians region. The average RAC value in this area is also high, approximately 86 Bq ~(-1). In Povazsky Inovec mountain range, higher RAC values in the springs located near uranium deposits were not found.
